Centenary Year, 2008
CALLING OLD TIME ROCKERS !!!
With the mighty Rockers being founded in 1908 this season marks our centenary year. The current committee is working hard to gather past player information, being that our records are a bit scratchy pre-war. If people could pleae make an effort to round up all" Old time Rockers!!" to join in the festivities planned.

Premiership Re-uinions/ BBQ luncheons - Selected home games
If any past players, members or family can please contact club president (details below) with anything the think may be useful for such a momentus year.. Eg- Photo's, trophy's, playing records etc. etc...
The club is also looking for a major sponsor for our Centenary match in our original jumpers from 1908, this will include advertising around ground/ website & on match jumper, to be auctioned at Centenary Dinner.
With the migthy Rockers making the move up to Div 2 after the closely fought premiership last season, we hope all family & supporters can make it along to matches throughout the season to cheer the the boys on. Our season starts with a local derby v Moorabbin Kangas on April 19th
Please make sure you make an effort to help celebrate this special birthday..
After all you only turn 100 once !!!!!

THE ROCKERS !!!
After being founded in 1908 BlackRock FC will celebrate its 100th birthday in 2008, the club is keen to have all members re-unite at several functions throughout the season. The cub has also secured a grant to see our out dated rooms receive a "facelift" in 2008, stay tuned for more details..
A pre-season newsletter will be sent to all members on current file either by snail mail/ email (if you have moved we need to update your details) detailing our plans for the centenary year.
