BLACK ROCK FC ANNOUNCES COACHING APPOINTMENTS FOR 2010
The Black Rock Football Club is please to announce the appointment of James Challis as Senior Coach for 2010.
The 2007 Black Rock Premiership Captain, Challis has been Senior Coach since the early rounds of the 2008 season and has overseen the side becoming a consistently competitive performer in SFL Division 2.
New Black Rock President Peter Smith said “We are delighted to have retained Challo’s services for 2010. His terrific passion for the game and our Club has driven much of our recent success. We are confident that he is the best man to take our Club to the next level – finals in 2010.”
Black Rock is also very pleased to announce the appointment of 2007 Premiership forward Cardin “Cards” Leorke as Reserves Coach for 2010.
Training will commence on Wed 2nd Dec, meet at Rockers clubrooms at 6pm. bring runners & towel in case of a swim..
After a struggle with numbers last season the club urges all players to recruit friends /new members & bring them along to training.
The Club also hopes to announce an important addition to its football department in coming days, stay tuned for more details???
BLACK ROCK FC PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE THE ELECTON OF ITS FIRST FEMALE VICE PRESIDENT
The Black Rock Football Club is delighted to announce the election of Tegan Mills as Vice President for 2010.
Tegan is 22 and works in retail and visual merchandising. She has been involved at Black Rock as a trainer for two years and has become more involved in the Club operations and is aiming to increase the level of female participation at the Club and in football generally.
New Black Rock President Peter Smith said “We are delighted to have Tegan on the Board for 2010. At a time where many Clubs are seeking to increase the level of female participation in football, Tegan’s election adds a new and very welcome dimension to the Club”.
